Is this amp water proof or resistant? I have all marine environment radios and CD.From Bill at 4/27/10 11:05 PMThe amplifier is not waterproof and must be protected from direct contact with water. It is intended to be installed in a cabin or under a console area where it will remain dry.

I have just bought this amp for my boat and want to know if it is suitable for mounting externally? I was thinking of putting it on my center console. It wont get water on it from outside the boat, but could be wet when i wash out my boat.
