Just purchased unit and having trouble getting active. Unit power is on but no sound, The remote wire has a connection to the Jenson head unit (blue wire) but has 2 ends, only one insert. Is that the problem?
From Jacob at 7/27/10 10:00 AMThe MXA6BA - JENSEN 6" Amplified Subwoofer is triggered by the blue wire. The two ends have two different terminals on them to allow for various connections. Both terminals do not have to be used. The RED and WHITE RCA INPUTS need to be connected to the RCA OUTPUTS on the stereo. Make sure you adjust the gain to match the amplifier to your stereo as described on page 4 of the owner's manual. -
