good - what i expected
Rating I was looking for this type of unit with a door that rolled back out of the way. My old cover hinged up and when I turned the boat steering wheel while the door was open - broken! This can't happen with this one. Seems good for the job. Can't wait to install. Looks easy to do. Good price too. -
Good, but a few misses
Rating I bought this along with several other Jensen items for my boat. I am very happy with all the products, but there are a few shortcomings on this.
Firstly, the latch for the faceplate works, but it a bit hard to get used to. Once you get used to it, it is OK, but I do not yet feel comfortable with it and find myself checking it once or twice each time. Second, and very minor, is that the Jensen badge on the top is coming off, and does not look like it really fits the indentation made for it. No big deal, but it is glued in well enough so that taking it off is difficult, but not well enough to stay in place. There is a spot for an iPod to the right of the radio but it only fits the new, smaller devices. A classic iPod will not fit there. -
Good Product
Rating It was easy to install and protects the stereo well. I would have liked to have a place to put my iPod.

I would like to know if the MRH211W will fit my MCD6115 radio? ThanksFrom Robert at 4/7/10 8:06 AMThe JENSEN MRH211W water resistant housing will not fit the JENSEN MCD6115 marine stereo. When properly installed, the MCD6115 is a fully waterproof model. It is intended for the front face to be exposed to water contact. As such, no marine radio enclosure is required.
