Excellent Remote
Rating My new luxury performance pontoon boat has 2 satellite remotes...one on the dash and one near the ladder to operate from the water. The only problem I have is when boating at night, the LCD display is so bright that it impairs my vision to see clearly what is in front of the boat. I cannot find out if the LCD display can be deceased or muted because there is no operation manual. -
Easy Install and Makes Boating Fun!
Rating Recently purchased a brand new Sea-Doo Speedster 150 and the boat came with the Jensen MSR3007. The only thing that was upsetting was that Sea-Doo put the radio out of drivers reach and if you want to change the station or track you had to stop the boat and get up to change. With this remote I can now control everything from the driver seat including powering it on and off along with track, station, volume, etc. I highly recommend this unit. Another great thing is the LCD screen tells you what you are doing instead of guessing what station you are on or track, etc. All in all its a great unit and a must if it's compatible with your headunit. Also with an easy plug in install you can't go wrong. No messy wiring or figuring out how to run wires. Just simply cut out the mounting hole and plug it in and you are good to go. I had this installed in my boat in about 25 minutes and that included getting the tools out and figuring out where exactly I wanted it mounted.

My MWR100 lights up and operates, but the display does not show any text. What is wrong?The MWR100 is designed for use with JENSEN SIRIUS-ready radios only. Use of this remote with a JENSEN radio that is not SIRIUS-ready will result in no information on the display.

With use of the Y adaptor cables, can I have more than two MWR100 wired remotes connected to my Jensen Stereo?

Hi. I was just wondering how much the unit will sit from the dash once mounted? I just want to make sure there will be clearance for my particular mounting location. Just need to know how much it will sit off the dash once mounted. Thanks

Can I use the MWR100 with the MSR2107 and unplug the main wired commander? I want to mount the remote on the dash and use it as the main control.From Darrin at 7/3/10 11:43 PMThe JENSEN MWR100 wired remote is not a replacement for the JENSEN MSR2107 Commander unit. The system will not function without the Commander unit installed. The Commander has more control capability than the MWR100. You may choose to install the MWR100 on the dash and the Commander in a different location, if you prefer.

Can I use the MWR100 Jensen wired remote to select random play or shuffle when in iPod mode? Where can I get a user manual for this remote that give a list of available functions and a description of operation?From Dean at 6/16/10 8:57 AMThe buttons on the MWR100 will correlate with the functions listed in the manual of the radio. For shuffle or random mode, it is the #4 preset on the radio. Since the MWR100 does not have have the preset button, the shuffle function is not available through the remote. With the remote you will still be able to perform the category search and get song information. Will this remote work with my DV2007?From andrew at 4/7/10 8:27 PMThe MWR100 is not compatible with the JENSEN DV2007 DVD stereo. The JENSEN MWR75 is the only compatible wired remote control with the DV2007.
